The traditional method for testing the sealing performance (also known as leakage detector, air tightness tester, leakage detector, dry tester, or leak detector) of test specimens is to use the visual bubble method of immersion in water or oil. This method has simple equipment and intuitive results, but its detection accuracy and efficiency are low, and it is greatly affected by human factors. It cannot achieve automatic quantitative leakage detection. At the same time, it will also bring adverse effects such as dampness and rusting to the workpiece, as well as the infiltration of impurities, and the cumbersome treatment of water (or oil) adhering to the surface of the test piece. Even some products are not allowed to be tested by this method, such as electronic and electrical components.
The air tightness tester adopts the latest microcomputer chips from abroad, high-precision sensors and zero-leakage solenoid valves to ensure the accuracy of the test results and the durability of the instrument. The microcomputer automatically controls the detection process and data collection. The latest algorithms and dedicated software are adopted to analyze and process the data, compensating for the influence of temperature (including ambient temperature) and other factors during the detection process to the greatest extent. It overcomes external interference, realizes direct pressure difference leak detection, and the detection results are intuitive. It has a very high performance-to-price ratio and is an ideal device for many air tightness tests.
